Galatz收到或妇女的领导论坛奖
骨科研究会选择了Leesa M. Galatz，MD，作为2021名妇女领导论坛奖的受援人员。
该奖项荣誉一名女性生物学家，临床医生或工程师，为骨科系统和肌肉骨骼疾病和伤害而对肌肉骨骼系统和肌肉骨骼疾病和伤害作出重大贡献，以及在整形外科的服务和辅导之外。
“This award reflects ORS’ commitment to the support and advancement of women in science and medicine,” Galatz, professor and chair of the Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System, said in a press release. “Moments like this energize me to continue to pursue excellence in orthopedic practice and research.”

Galatz专门从事肩膀和肘部手术，兴趣肩部不稳定，旋转袖疾病和肩部关节置换术。她对肩带腰带疾病和组织工程策略的基础科学研究，除了她的临床工作之外，还赢得了众多奖项。
